On the streets Bob’s car blends into the crowd and no one would ever suspect to see this modest G35 coupe fly by them like a flash of light. From front to back the car looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. The G35 facelift for 2006 confuses you even more, this G is still youthful. Not until closer inspection that you realize that this isn’t just daddy’s new bone stock Infiniti G35—even a quick walk around wouldn’t reveal its inner secrets. The massive intercooler that hides itself behind the front bumper is even coated black to conceal any evidence of extra power.
Taking a look under the hood proves to be a much different story, though. Our technicians at Altered Atmosphere Motorsports did the works on Bob’s G35. The most obvious thing you’ll find is an aluminum charge pipe with blue silicon couplings running up next to the motor. Take a deeper look and you’ll find that Bob is running a Greddy 18g Twin Turbo Kit with the Greddy Intercooler.
That’s not all though, the areas that never see light are home to an HKS Super Sequential Blow-off Valve, AAM Spec Return Fuel System, Walboro Intank Fuel Pump, AAM Spec Angled Plenum Spacer, AAM Spec MaxFlow High Flow Cats, AAM Spec 2.5” Stainless Y-Pipe, TurboXS 350Z UTEC with TunerREG system, DTEC 4 Bar Pressure Sensor, and HKS EVC Boost Controller.
With all these extra goodies and a nice tuning session with Mike Mahaffey, Bob’s G35 Sleeper made 396 whp, which puts him in a new elite league on the streets. All while still retaining the factory stock cat-back exhaust system!
