Chris's Vortech Supercharged Nissan 350Z
On average, the Nissan 350Z with a Vortech Supercharger will push horsepower numbers in the mid to high 300’s. Very impressive numbers for some, but at Altered Atmosphere Motorsports we’re never satisfied with being average.
Chris originally brought his beautiful 350Z to Altered Atmosphere Motorsports for the Vortech, AAM Fuel System upgrade, and tuning. Chris’s car did remarkably well, but not well enough for Chris. Chris wanted more power - Chris wanted the Ultimate Vortech’d Z.
To accomplish his goal Chris brought his Vortech Supercharged 350Z back to us for larger 550cc injectors, a high-performance radiator, custom FAL fans, and a tune by our very own renounced tuner Mike Mahaffey. Our technicians quickly went to work to get everything installed and looked over Chris’ Z to make sure everything was running correctly.
Then the Z was in the hands of Mike Mahaffey on our DynoJet. As Mike started tuning the Z everyone was keeping their fingers crossed for the magic 450whp mark Chris wanted to achieve. When Mike returned to the office the grin on his face let us all know something was up -- 468whp at ~10 PSI!! Unheard of numbers for a stock motored Vortech Supercharged 350Z!
