Jason's Greddy Twin Turbo G35

Jason traveled all the way down to our Maryland facility from Ontario, Canada to have us service his GReddy Turbocharged Infiniti G35. He had a few problems with his G that needed to be corrected by the expert technicians at AAM.

We found and corrected the following problems:

  • GReddy Pressure Sensor installed incorrectly
  • Power steering line was rubbing on the turbo
  • Oil was leaking from the fitting on the oil pan
  • Some loose intercooler clamps
  • Screws missing on the fender lining
  • Front and rear bolts loose on the lower plenum
  • Boost controller was installed inc

After correcting all these problems, Jason’s car was ready to make some serious power. To feed the VQ35DE with more fuel, we offered Jason the popular AAM Spec Fuel Return System and a Walboro fuel pump upgrade. Jason’s G35 can officially now boost hard without any fears of fuel starvation. To optimize the extra power potential of his new fuel system in mind, we also installed our own AAM Spec Intake Plenum Spacer and MaxFlow 2.5 inch Cats for better flow.

To compliment the GReddy E-mange system, our fabricators welded a bung to the passenger side cat pipe for placement of an AEM Wideband O2 Sensor. A flange was also welded to the intake charge pipes for residency of an HKS Super Sequential Blow-off Valve.

When all the parts found their new home, Jason’s G35 was rolled onto our DynoJet dynamometer so that the E-Manage system could be configured and tuned for the new setup. With an AAM Spec ECU Flash the idle was massaged for the 440cc injectors, the rev-limiter was increased, and, among other proprietary changes, the timing maps were setup for best reliability and power. Mike Mahaffey tuned the G and made 75 hp over the original setup!
