Juan's Turbonetics Single Turbo 350Z
So this is the story of addiction. Although most stories are sad we know that this one is going to have a sweet ending. Juan took his stock 2004 Pole Position White (PPW) 350Z and added some NA mods for improved airflow including the proprietary AAM Spec Angled Plenum Spacer and AAM Spec Cat Pipes. Just like most people new to the vehicle upgrading scene, this gave Juan a taste of what's possible. Sometimes this taste is good but discipline stops any further experimentation for a while. Other times there are guys like Juan, where one taste is just not enough. Within two weeks he was back salivating for more power! We could see the wheels turning in his head. "Airflow equals power….I like power….Turbocharging really gives more airflow…Turbonetics Single Turbo!" Go ahead ask him how it happened; he'll give you the same answer. So that's how a power feen is made. Now this badasss PPW 350Z sports a Turbonetics Single Turbo running 8psi of boost and puts down over 370RWHP!
To keep everything reliable we utilized a GReddy E-manage piggy-back fuel computer. The GReddy E-manage is used to control the slightly larger 380cc injectors that Turbonetics supplied with the turbo kit. We also upgraded Juan's 350Z with a custom AAM Spec ECU Flash for reliable ignition timing, optimized power, and 7,100rpm rev-limiter.
To make Juan's turbo spool up super quick an AAM Spec 3" MaxFlow Dual exhaust is used. Not only does this exhaust perform like no other, it looks and sounds killer.
Juan stops by the shop at least once a week looking for ways to gain more power. We are think a 12 Step program may be the only option.
