tuning
Tuning is an essential and often overlooked key to having a well-rounded performance vehicle. Altered Atmosphere Motorsports, Inc. is the proud owner of the United States' first All-Wheel Drive Dynojet. Our experiences with this dynamometer, including tuning over a thousand cars with it, has given us an unsurpassed expertise of motor vehicles in our industry.

what is a dynamometer?
It is a large testing instrument that simulates real world driving conditions that allows us to properly tune cars safely and effectively. The Dynamometer also allows us to test the performance of different products, find out what parts work best on your vehicle, and develop our AAM Spec. parts. To learn more, check out our Gear Head 101 section.

getting it done
Altered Atmosphere Motorsports, Inc. has several options available for the dynamometer to suit just about any project for your front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, or all-wheel drive vehicle. These options range from a basic two pull baseline to see how much horsepower your vehicle is making, to an aftermarket tuning session by one of our skilled engine management experts. Why does AAM Recommend the Air/Fuel Option?

Click here to learn more about what a dynamometer is and why the air/fuel module is an important part of any tuning or testing session.

* Please note several vehicles, such as the Mitsubishi EVO and most Audi models, are considerably harder to strap down and prepare for the dyno session. These types of vehicles carry an additional $35.00 preperation charge. We have the right to limit the maximum dyno pulls to any one hour session. We do not allow more than 12 pulls in any one hour time period. This is not only abuses the dyno, it is abusive for your vehicle as well.
